Hi David,

I wanted to drop you a quick email to thank you and your team for the catering at the wedding Friday night. Food was sensational, staff were fabulous and there was more than enough food for everyone not to go home hungry. The bridal party loved the canape mix that they were given and had a little picnic and popped some sparkly before they had their photo shoot down by the river which all said they enjoyed. The guest were all commenting on the canapes and the dinner variety of food as it covered everyone’s dietary requirements. We had so many people coming to let us know how good all the food throughout the day was and letting us know their favourite dishes. There were a few challenges with the weather on the morning of the wedding but all our dream team of suppliers worked so hard to ensure that the afternoon and night were magical and so professional of them all that no one would have even known the obstacles they faced setting up earlier on the day with the weather. It is truly humbling to know that the suppliers went above what was required to ensure the day was everything that the bride and groom had hoped it to be and we don’t know any of these suppliers yet they made sure that every little detail was perfect and they absolutely nailed it. We can’t thank you enough and will recommend you to friends and family to support your business.

David and his team where amazing to deal with leading up to the event and the service on the day was nothing but perfect. We had the pleasure of meeting with David a few times prior to the wedding and we were so grateful for his easy going 'can do' attitude, professionalism and attention to detail. David was incredibly easy to work with and overall is a lovely personality to around when planning a special event.

So many of our friends and family have complimented the food and service Coral Coast Catering provided and we both (Patrick and I) could not be happier! The food was so much better than I ever could have imagined (I remember complimenting David on the menu in earlier meetings and he said wait until you taste it will be some much better and he could not have been more spot on). Every dish was presented beautifully and friends and family with dietary requirements were well looked after.

It has recently come to my attention that neither Rachael nor I provided you with a testimonial after Rachael and Ben's wedding in Yungaburra in June this year.

I am so terribly sorry about this oversight on our behalf because we were absolutely thrilled with your catering efforts. In fact everyone was.

You and your team were able to provide us with all the assistance and advice we needed to cater for this outdoor function and you all went above and beyond what was required to make it a seamless occasion as far as the food was concerned. Many of the guests commented to various members of the family about how good the food was and enquired about who the caterers were. I have to say the fish and chips in paper cones were the hit of the night and I think you could have just provided that and everyone would have been happy!

Seriously David, we were more than happy with the service you provided right from the "tasting session" at the very beginning, to taking the cool room on site for our use prior to the occasion, and for providing the beautiful food on the night. You were always very prompt with replying to my emails with various queries and I wouldn't hesitate to call on you again should we require catering at any other function.

The services rendered by Dave and Peter were excellent. The choice of ingredients, and the 'cultural' variety and quality of the cuisine were first-rate. Now we have got rid of everyone and the dust has settled after the birthday bash I would once again like to say a huge Thank You for catering. I asked several guests what they thought of the food and if they had enough and also said that I wanted the truth so I could pass on any comments. What I was told over & over again was that the food was fantastic and that there was plenty of it. Friends pointed out the BBQ prawn skewers, the Grilled lamb cutlets, the fish & chips boxes and the Thai style fish cakes as their favourites and were saying how nice it all tasted. I got WOW, those lamb cutlets were fantastic, also got "those prawn skewers were to die for" and also "what a great idea with the fish & chips and the fish was so nice" This was the second time I have used your company and would thoroughly recommend you to everyone. Hi David,

David Young from Coral Coast Catering did a fabulous job at our garden wedding of 60 guests on New Years Eve 2011.

The initial meeting was informative, delightful finger food menus were provided, and preparation on the evening was out of sight of the guests.

The serving staff were friendly and unobtrusive, and circulated through the guests with great ease. Food was exciting and tasty and well received.

Clean up and departure of catering staff was hardly noticed. Jane and I give Coral Coast Catering top marks for their service

It was great to hear all the feedback from our friends - many who as you know are Italian.... 'they loved the lasagna, fettucini carbonara , gnocchi and especially the FISH.....they were amazed about the extent of the menu from italian pastas, to roasts, salads, chicken, fish and delicious desserts...our guests were so impressed with the AMOUNT of food and Peter, the way you kept checking that there was always enough!!!!

The ambience of your restaurant was perfect for our party of 50. You, David and your staff were so obliging on the day to provide whatever we needed and make our guests comfortable and welcome, even to allowing us play our Italian CD's. Thank you also for the number of times i asked to meet with you to discuss the menu and let me know that 'you would look after me and guarantee there would be enough food.' You reassured me that nothing would be a problem and on the day - you were true to your word!!!!

I would recommend that anybody looking for a 'great venue, great food, great service to consider "La Fontana for their function.

Hi David,

Our company has held Christmas parties in the Cairns area for 4 years now and this year I was looking for a change having been not entirely happy with our previous venue.

Coral Coast Catering was recommended to me and I was impressed firstly by their interest factor in my function.

The weeks went by and the arrangements were made so simple by David and Peter. We first met when I was in Cairns and then we spoke via e-mail many times. They were very willing to cater to my every whim. We settled on a range of finger foods and an open bar.

The food was fantastic, delicious and plentiful, no one went home hungry. The staff were delightful and efficient.

The night arrived and 70 vets, nurses and partners converged on La Fontana Restaurant.

I have never had so many calls the day after a function to say thank you and what a good time people had.

I would thoroughly recommend Coral Coast Catering for any function that you may wish to organize. I will use them again next year for our Christmas party in Cairns!
